Louis Laves-Webb bio photo Upon receiving my bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, I began working with children and adolescents in the foster-care system on a ranch in the Texas hill country. From there, I worked and increased my level of responsibility in the Juvenile Justice field. During this time, my curiosity about the human condition began to really materialize. After some soul searching and exploration of the legal field, I decided that my true strengths and interests were best served in the field of psychotherapy. I enrolled in the Masters Program in Clinical Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with honors in 2002.

In the course of my education and experience I have been privileged to be a part of some invaluable counseling opportunities, including working with: CPS, Texas State Board of Pharmacy, Legal aide, The University of Texas Counseling Center, The Austin State Hospital, Capital Area Mental Health, Williamson County Juvenile Services, Central Texas Counseling, and the Psychotherapy Associates of Judy L. Alexander, LCSW. I am recognized by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I enjoy reading, the outdoors and nurturing my 13 year old son.
