Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of how to move forward can make even daily life feel heavy. Therapy offers a space where you do not have to carry everything alone. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered as you work through the challenges that brought you here.

I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, trauma, substance use concerns, self-criticism, and life transitions. Whether you are feeling disconnected from yourself, caught in painful patterns, or simply trying to regain a sense of balance, therapy can help you better understand what you are experiencing while developing practical tools for change.

Clients often appreciate my calm, grounded, and collaborative approach. I strive to create an environment where you feel safe enough to explore difficult emotions and honest enough to be fully yourself without fear of judgment. I believe meaningful growth happens when people feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported.

My approach is strengths-based and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we will build on the strengths you already possess while identifying new ways to navigate challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT).

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington with a concentration in direct mental health practice and substance abuse. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I), currently working toward advanced clinical licensure.

In addition to providing psychotherapy at  Louis Laves-Webb, LCSW, LPC-S & Associates, I also provide care planning services for older adults and family caregivers through a nonprofit organization. My clinical experience includes working with high-acuity patients in a partial hospitalization setting, individual and group counseling, crisis counseling, hospice care, trauma support, safety planning, and connecting individuals to mental health resources through the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Born and raised in Austin, I value authenticity, curiosity, and meaningful connection. Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, learning, music, creativity, and spending time with friends, family, and my dog.

Reaching out for support can be difficult, but you do not have to navigate things on your own. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you in creating meaningful and lasting change.
